The Polkaholics will make a return to Chicago’s old Polish Broadway on Saturday March 9, 2024, when they play a show at Phyllis’ Musical Inn. Located at the corner of Division & Wood and across the street from the historic, but long-gone, Lucky Stop Inn, Phyllis’ recently celebrated their 70 year anniversary! Many polka bands once played at Phyllis’ and on this strip in Chicago, and The Polkaholics aim to bring back some of the magic of the polka heyday at this show. The Polkaholics played their first show in November 1997 at Phyllis’, so it will be a special “homecoming” show for the band. The always-rocking band Letterbomb will open the show at 9pm, and The Polkaholics will play two sets of people-pleasing polkas from 10pm til the wee hours. So, c’mon out for a night that is guaranteed to be fun, Fun, FUN!!
