Passing of IPA Hall of Fame Member: Stanley “Stas” Golonka

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of I.P.A. Hall of Fame member Stanley “Stas” Golonka.

Our deepest sympathies are extended to his wife Sue, his children Allan, Michelle, their families, and all of his friends.

Please keep them all in your thoughts and prayers.

Stas was inducted into the International Polka Association Hall of Fame in 2016.

Known by all polka music fans as “The King of Honky”, Stas’ steady drum beat and velvet vocals were loved by one and all.

We’ll miss you Stas and we’ll “Forget you Never”.

Rest in Peace.
