IPA Receives a Grant from City of Chicago’s Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE)

On behalf of the City of Chicago’s Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE), we are pleased to announce that International Polka Association has been selected to receive a grant in the amount of $10,000 for general operating support.

DCASE received a significant increase to the Cultural Grants Program budget in 2022, signifying Mayor Lightfoot’s commitment to the arts as an essential part of life for Chicago residents. We are pleased to be able to allocate a large portion of this budget to general operating grants for arts and culture organizations.  These increased, renewable grants are being made in direct response to needs raised by the local community for larger, more flexible grants.

We are committed to supporting Chicago’s cultural landscape, and view general operating funding as the most essential way for us to help organizations achieve their goals.  We are pleased to be able to provide this unrestricted support to your organization, as a testament to our belief in the importance of your work.

We are so grateful for your vision and passion. DCASE is honored to be a part of your work this year.
