From its rich musical history and culinary traditions to modern-day American-Slovenian customs, there’s a lot to learn and love about Slovenia. Join us for the 40th annual Slovenefest and celebrate all that is great about Slovenia. It is a guaranteed good time regardless of your heritage!
This 40th anniversary year will feature special entertainment, more crafters and daily prize drawings!
The event features more than 20 Slovenian polka bands and button box accordion clubs at four indoor and outdoor venues.
While enjoying the music, attendees can sample the great foods of Slovenia, along with other favorite festival foods and a variety of beverages.
Guests will also be able to explore the culture of Slovenia through an extensive display of folk attire, crafts and presentations in the SNPJ Slovenian Heritage Center museum.
Other festival attractions include the Miss SNPJ Pageant, and the “Make It, Bake It, Grow It” Crafters Bazaar, as well as kids activities, fishing in the lake, swimming in the Olympic-size pool, or enjoying a round of miniature golf.
