IPA Festival and Cancellation Notice – July 2, 2020
In a mutual agreement between the International Polka Association and the Millennium Hotel – Buffalo, our 52nd Annual Festival and Convention scheduled for September 4 through September 6 has been canceled.
The State of New York still has many Covid-19 restrictions, including mandatory mask-wearing, social distancing guidelines, and maximum occupancy practices within all public areas.
Unfortunately, due to these restrictions, we had no choice but to make this difficult decision for the health and safety of the bands, the board, the volunteers, our polka family, and friends.
We have had a Plan B committee already working on plans to host a Virtual IPA Festival, and more information will follow regarding our schedule for this event within the next few weeks.
If you have a room reservation at the Millennium Hotel, you will not have to cancel it. The hotel will cancel all current room reservations.
Information about our 53rd Annual Festival and Convention will be released sometime in the future. Please visit our website at https://www.ipapolkas.com.
