Nicole is the fourth generation of the Mrozinski family to play polka music and she currently plays concertina with the Twin Cities Soundz from Minnesota. She has been exposed to polka music her entire life and has musical talent on both sides of her family. Nicole’s grandfather, Pete Mrozinski II, and her great uncle, Tom Mrozinski, were the leaders of the Mrozinski Brothers Aleatoric Ensemble. In 1999, Pete Mrozinski III and Robyn Mrozinski started the Twin Cities Soundz and have traveled from Delaware to California with the band. At 17 years old, Nicole joined the Twin Cities Soundz as a self-taught concertina player.
Nicole is perusing a major in Agricultural Business with a minor in Accounting at the University of Wisconsin. She is the president of the Agricultural Business and Marketing Society and a member of various other clubs on campus. She was also the 2024 recipient of the Freddy K Jr. Scholarship. Nicole has a strong passion for polka music and preserving her polish heritage. She is honored to be a part of the IPA board as a director and is committed to promoting and giving back to the polka music industry.
