About Alex Meixner

I am a 4th generation, life long polka musician who makes my full time living touring and performing polka music. I’ve performed on a Grammy award winning recording (Walter Ostanek’s “Music and Friends” 1994) and co-led a Grammy nominated recording (“Polka Freak Out” with Bubba Hernandez 2007). I enjoy performing, listening and learning about all styles of polka music, as well as many other forms of music.
