 performances by the Alex Meixner Duo and The Wolfpack Sound Polka Band\, b
 ringing an electrifying mix of traditional and contemporary polka sounds t
 o the Raleigh Ironworks.\nAlex Meixner delivers a dynamic fusion of polka\
 , jazz\, classical\, and world music influences. Meixner\, known for his v
 irtuosic accordion style and engaging stage presence\, has performed acros
 s the globe and at major festivals\, earning a reputation as one of the mo
 st innovative artists in modern polka. His performances combine technical 
 brilliance with an infectious energy that keeps audiences dancing and comi
 ng back for more.\nSharing the stage\, The Wolfpack Sound Polka Band is an
  Eastern European-style ensemble made up of both alumni and current studen
 ts of North Carolina State University. Founded by Mateusz Farmer\, whose m
 other is a Polish immigrant\, the group was created as a way to connect wi
 th cultural heritage while introducing and celebrating polka music in the 
 Triangle\, a region where Polish musical traditions have historically been
  underrepresented.
